The Designer plays an important role in avoiding, mitigating and resolving disputes and claims through the development of plans and specifications which meet user requirements as well as accurately describe the scope of work by the contractor. By implementing a proactive management strategy, the designer can help to deliver a successful project and closeout without disputes or claims. This session will present best practices in design and claims management.

Claims Avoidance by Contruction Staff

The Construction/Program Manager or Contractors play an important role in managing an ongoing construction project that implements best construction claims management practices. Samples and case scenarios will be provided.
