LA Younger Member Forum
Interested in becoming a National ASCE member and/or a Los Angeles Younger Member Forum (LA YMF) member?
Becoming an LA YMF member is easy. There are no extra fees or applications and anyone who qualifies to join National ASCE is welcomed. LA YMF provides an opportunity for civil engineers to become familiar with the engineering community and get involved in ASCE early in their professional careers. The official age range is 35 and younger, but we welcome those that are young at heart. Our goal is to capture the enthusiasm we all had as college students and build a coalition of successful younger engineers.
When you join ASCE as a National member, you can take pride in knowing that you're a part of a nationally recognized organization working to improve the public image of your profession, solve our nation's infrastructure crisis, and on the forefront of the industry's sustainability initiatives. It is a great opportunity to become a leader and belong to an amazing professional organization.
In addition, when you become a member of ASCE, your dues help fund most of our programs and events. We invite you to join our mailing list on our home page or contact our Membership Chairs for more information, Chloe Ghatios at chloe.gharios@ladwp.com.

Through LA YMF, I love having a way to inspire young girls to look at STEM as something that they can thrive in, and not just something for the boys!
