Books and Brews - The Subtle Art

On a cool November night, Books and Brews, the official LA YMF book club, met to discuss their second book in the club's history. The club was established with the goal of developing ASCE members both personally and professionally. The book was The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson and the venue was Justice Urban Tavern. The book really challenged conventional thinking. Topics covered included being comfortable with being different, why we shouldn't hope for a life without problems, how failure moves us forward, and the benefits of committing to only a few highly important goals. The club is shaping up to be a great way for YMF members to challenge themselves, grow, and network on a deeper level.
