Presentation on Owning a Small Business Engineering and Construction Management Company

LA YMF hosted a presentation on Owning a Small Business Engineering and Construction Management Company on Tuesday, March 26th at the Psomas office in Downtown LA. Omoné O. Livingston, founder, president, and CEO of O2EPCM, Inc., presented on the importance of various certifications (DBE, SBE, MBE, WBE, etc.) that businesses can use to become more competitive in the industry. She also shared some of the things that led her to start her business, as well as struggles encountered along the way. The event was well attended with an engaged audience of nearly 40 people. Omoné was able to answer a number of questions from the audience and went above and beyond by personally meeting the majority of attendants at the event. It was a valuable experience that helped inspire future and current business owners alike.
