The American Society of Civil Engineers Los Angeles Younger Member Forum (ASCE LA YMF) works to inspire students of all ages to become the future leaders of Los Angeles by exposing them to the many opportunities within the Civil Engineering field. This year-round goal of supporting college student organizations culminates with the Student Night & Job Fair, which will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, at The Music Center in Downtown Los Angeles.
This event typically gathers over 200 students from the 11 local universities in the ASCE LA Section region (Cal Baptist, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Cal Poly Pomona, CSUF, CSULA, CSULB, CSUN, LMU, UCI, UCLA, USC) as well as other universities in the Greater Los Angeles region. SNJF serves to recognize outstanding students with scholarships and awards; to provide aspiring engineers with the opportunity to find employment; and to facilitate interactions among employers, young professionals, and students alike.
