Dollars and Sense Workshop

On May 21st, LA YMF hosted David Lo from the CalCPA Institute to provide a Dollars and Sense Workshop for over 30 young professionals in the Psomas DTLA office. Mr. Lo provided insight on personal finance targeted for those present, focusing on budgeting, home ownership, dealing with debt, taxes, and saving and investing. In the discussion, Mr. Lo shared both personal and professional experiences and some of the challenges he faced in paying off debt and preparing to purchase a house for his own family. At the end of the evening, audience questions were answered and David stayed behind to have a more in depth conversation with several members.
