Come celebrate International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) on Sunday, June 30th, 12-3PM at the Altadena Town & Country Club with ASCE LA YMF. Altadena Town & Country Club can be found at: 2290 Country Club Dr, Altadena, CA 91001.
We'll be celebrating the accomplishments of women in engineering while reflecting on the challenges women face in the industry. According to the Society of Women Engineers, 24.2% of all engineering degrees were earned by women in 2020, and only 9.6% of all engineering degrees were earned by Women of Color. The event will also include opportunities for networking, scholarship awards, Group Trivia, Raffles, and a keynote from 2024 ASCE President, Marsia Geldert-Murphey.
Brunch is included in the ticket price.
