About the Event
ASCE Los Angeles Younger Member Forum (LA YMF) Professional Development Committee is excited to host a technical webinar on July 13th at 6:00 PM about the collapsed condominium in the State of Florida. This tragic event has left many professionals in the civil engineering industry wondering what actually occurred during the catastrophic collapse of the 12-story building. Join us on Tuesday to hear more about the potential causes, the forensic investigation of the site of the collapsed condominium, and the work that has been done ever since the incident. We're hoping to communicate to our members that it is our responsibility as civil engineers to design safe structures, and prevent an incident like this from ever happening again!!
