About the Event

This cutting-edge facility is designed to remove Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and 1,4-Dioxane from local groundwater using Ultraviolet Advanced Oxidation and Granular Activated Carbon (GAC). With a capacity of approximately 100 CFS and six of the largest UV reactors in the western U.S., this project is a major step in restoring Los Angeles’ groundwater supply, reducing reliance on imported water and increasing the City’s resiliency in the event of an emergency.

Join us to learn about the engineering, design, and environmental impact of one of LA’s most critical water infrastructure projects!
