2023 Student Night & Job Fair

ASCE LA YMF’s 24th Annual Student Night & Job Fair (SNJF) was held on Friday, February 10, 2023. As one of LA YMF’s biggest events of the year, SNJF aims to recognize outstanding students with scholarships and awards; provide aspiring engineers with the opportunity to find employment; and facilitate interactions among employers, young professionals, and students alike.

This year's event gathered up to 200 students and professionals within the Greater Los Angeles area! Over $26,000 was awarded in scholarships to students from eleven local universities including Cal Baptist, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Cal Poly Pomona, CSUF, CSULA, CSULB, CSUN, LMU, UCI, UCLA, and USC.

In an effort to engage local alumni and raise more funds for our student chapters, the Alumni Fund-a-thon was established! 50% of the proceeds raised helped put on SNJF and the other half was directly given to the respective student chapter.

As an added bonus, the night featured local vendors - 360Revolution and NaturebyBeth. All SNJF attendees were able to grab a 360 photo and a free professional headshot in between the scheduled program.
