ASCE at Janson Elementary Leadership Day

ASCE LA YMF was invited to attend the annual Janson Elementary Leadership day. The goal of the leadership day was to connect students with the leaders ain their city in hopes that they will be great role models for these students.

Mildred B. Janson School is proud to be an official “Leader In Me, LIGHTHOUSE” School. Through a community partnership with Panda Corporation and Franklin Covey, Janson Elementary School(TK-6th grade) has transformed into a “Leader in Me Lighthouse” school.

ASCE LA YMF members participated in the event and shared with the students their experience as a working professional engineer. They showcased the engineering professional and was able to answer any questions that the students may have. Overall, it was an exciting day to work with the students and to make a valuable impact on the community.
