Books and Brews - Creativity Inc.

Over one year ago, Books and Brews was founded to provide development, create deeper connections, and instill regular reading habits among its members. With a plan of reading a book every quarter, Creativity Inc. by Ed Catmull was the milestone book to pass the one year mark. The discussion took place on Tuesday, April 30th at First Draft Taproom and Kitchen. The book gave both helpful tips on fostering creativity in the workplace and an engaging narrative on the history of Pixar. With a large turnout, the discussion was lively and thought provoking as the group shared their thoughts on the book and discussed how the ideas presented could be used to benefit ourselves and our workplaces. After a full year of Books and Brews, the interest only continues to grow and great things are expected for the future to come.
